四川民族艺术团简介

应夏威夷中华总商会和美国收藏家协会、全美大西南同乡联合会的邀请，四川省人民政府侨务办公室和四川省艺术职业学院组织四川民族艺术团赴美夏威夷、洛杉矶和华盛顿演出。

四川民族艺术团是由变脸大师、杂技演员和年轻漂亮舞蹈演员组成的具有四川民族艺术特色、充满青春活力的演出团。艺术团近2小时的节目内容丰富精彩。“变脸”精湛绝伦，享誉“中国一绝”。杂技扣人心弦，令人叹为观止。民族舞蹈，充满中国西部民族特色，魅力四溢。

近年来，四川民族艺术团多次组团代表国家出访了英国、德国、巴西、墨西哥、日本、香港、澳门等二十多个国家和地区演出，深受海外的欢迎。

Brief Introduction of Sichuan Provincial Chinese Art Performance Group

   At the invitation of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, American Chinese Collector’s Association and Southwest China Association,USA, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Sichuan Provincial Government and Sichuan Professional Art Institute organize the Sichuan Provincial Folk Art Performance Group to pay a visit to America for giving performances in Hawaii, Los Angeles and Washington DC.

   Sichuan Provincial Folk Art Performance Group is a unique and dynamic folk art group made up of Sichuan Mask (Changing Masks) masters, acrobats and beautiful young dancers. Their nearly two hours shows are diversely attractive, for example, the charming nationalities dances, breathtaking acrobatics and the fantastic Sichuan Mask famed as “A Wonder of China”.

   Recent years Sichuan Professional Art Institute has sent performance groups to more than 20 countries and regions such as England, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Japan, Hong Kong and Macao, which were highly appraised overseas.##end##

1.      Prelude – “Fortune Blessings”

With red silk floating, colorful fans spinning and the lute trilling cheerfully, fortune blessings are bestowed upon all of you for your happy, wealthy and healthy life!

2.      Opera-style Dance – “Pretty Girls”

Pretty girls in classic Chinese costumes are playing with various sweet, cute and agile dance postures, from which you will find their naughtiness, boldness and sweet!

3.      Acrobatics – “Spring Buds—Spinning Blankets”

   “Spinning Blankets” compose of different acrobatic skills such as spinning, throwing, turning over, catching and twisting, demonstrating spring buds rushing out of the earth and breathing out the spring to the people.

4.      Nationalities Dance – “The Spring of Girls”

Characteristic of unique minority style, the dance shows Uygur national minority dancing gestures and their unique flirting with eyes.

5.      Acrobatics – “Backward Pedaling Person”

A acrobat artist is pedaling not a bicycle, but a person over her head! After enjoying the breathtaking show, you will feel the wonderful pleasure of childhood.

6.      Dance – “Girls with Fans”

It tells a story that a countryside girl loves folk art ardently after she gets a chance to touch it.

7.      Tibetan Folk Dance – “Kang Ding Liu Liu”

It shows the love of the Kang Ding girls living in Sichuan Tibetan area for better future with their ardent, bold and vigorous characters.

8.      Acrobatics – “Rolling Cups Contortion”

Rolling Cups is a contortionist act in which the artist uses her hands, head and feet to balance several layers of glass cups. This exciting and engaging act exceeds the limits of the human body in highlighting not only an acrobatic artist’s flexibility, but also her balancing and rolling skills.

9.      Solo Dance – “The Spring Cradle”

The solo dance pleasantly shows a young girl’s youth budding, pursuit for happiness and love for spring beauty with her different body movement languages.

10.  Highlights Of Sichuan Opera – “Heavenly Sichuan Full of Love”

Sichuan Opera is one of China’s most unique ancient regional opera genre. This opera has accumulated many attractive and wonderful performance skills, including manipulation of a variety of costumes and props, among which unbelievable “Changing Masks” skill enjoys “A Wonder of China”.
